đ The ALTRAD hot-air balloon flies over Mont Saint-Michel in support of the Audace Handi Ăvasion association
âš From May 1st to 4th, 2025 (under the watchful eye of Saint Michael, patron saint of aeronauts) the skies above Mont Saint-Michel Bay hosted a remarkable challenge. ABA, a partner of the Altrad Group, took part in an unprecedented event: the very first group crossing of the bay by air, featuring 11 airships (8 hot-air balloons and 3 class 5 ULM airships), with both disabled âż and able-bodied pilots and passengers on board.
đ€ The Altrad balloon was one of them, piloted by Mercedes Taravillo, a member of the ABA association (she also designed the ALTRAD fabric displayed on the majestic black balloon).
đȘđ Beyond the human and technical achievement, this powerful moment helped break down barriers and remind us all that the sky is open to everyone.
