The Altrad group gets involved in the revamping of the Austerlitz train station

Specialist in access solutions (scaffolding, elevated working platforms, rope access…), the Altrad group recently won a significant and emblematic contract: the refurbishing of the Austerlitz station in Paris. It should be noted that in terms of transport infrastructure, Altrad is not at its first attempt since the group has, for example, recently completed a very similar assignment in the Bordeaux train station.

For this new project in the Austerlitz station, Altrad is maximising synergies -through the complementarity of its subsidiaries- to benefit its client: the Altrad-Plettac-Mefran subsidiary supplied (in January) the 3,000 tons of tubular structures needed (this subsidiary of the Altrad group is well-known for its design expertise in the construction, historic monuments, industry and civil engineering sectors). But it is the Altrad Arnholdt company that has assembled the scaffolding. A winning combination that makes it possible to highlight the skills of a French, forward-thinking, original and ambitious group.
