"It is as a member of civil society that I want to get involved. To appease. Fundamentalism continues to progress in our country. The government is passing a law to 'reinforce republican principles'. It is probably useful. But it will not be enough to give hope to young French people who are looking for a future and believe that religious radicalism is an outlet for their frustrations.

I want to give the ideals of the “Lumières” ('Enlightenment') all the space they deserve.
