International Women’s Day 2022 : #BreakTheBias

Every year, on March 8th, International Women's Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

Although we have made progress in the area of gender equality, many women still face discrimination and prejudice in the workplace that prevent them from reaching their career potential.

73% of women experience bias at work-yet less than a third of employees are able to recognise bias when they see it.

At Altrad, we are committed to professional diversity, we believe in equal opportunities regardless of gender or any other bias.

On International Women's Day and beyond, we want to celebrate the women who surround and inspire us. We also take the opportunity to take stock, reflect together, exchange, encourage each other and mobilise.

“Females should have equal rights to men – to education, to work, to access public services, to enjoy freedoms... There should be no differentiation between males and females and IWD is another opportunity to remind ourselves of this and seek to address any conscious or unconscious bias we may have” Ran Oren, Altrad CEO.

We are all responsible, we all need to take action to #BreakTheBias
