Female Scaffolding Program

Altrad Services is taking positive action to improve the ratio of women in the male-dominated vocation of scaffolding.

Seven women are halfway through an 8-day intensive training program at our new Jandakot facility where they will graduate with Basic Scaffolding, Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Test Atmosphere qualifications.

Altrad Services’ trainer, Dick Riki, said “the all-female class are enthusiastic, strong, quick learners and will make excellent scaffolders in the future”.
