Fire stop joints
In order to limit risks such as fire escalation/propagation or structural collapse, Altrad Services is an expert in the installation of firestop and joint system components.
We use joint systems to prevent fire from spreading through linear openings between or within fire-resistive floor and/or wall assemblies. Through the application of fire-resistant systems (that most often involve backing foam - made of mineral or ceramic fibre, but also silicone foam or silicone elastomer), we can effectively restore the required fire-resistance rating.
