ALTRAD Services Algeria at the NAPEC exhibition

From 13 to 15 November, the Oran Convention Centre hosted the 11th North Africa Energy & Hydrogen Exhibition and Conference (NAPEC). This year’s event, an international meeting place for professionals in the energy sector, is intended to be a forum for “the promotion of a progressive energy transition through technological innovation”.

In addition to the active participation of the Ministry of Energy and Mines, as well as the national company Sonatrach (and its subsidiaries), the NAPEC also saw the involvement of 13 foreign firms (such as ENI, OXY, Chevron, Pertamina, Total Energies, Petrofac, Baker Hughes...). The ALTRAD Group was also present through its Algerian subsidiary. In all, 500 exhibitors representing 45 countries took part in the event.

Around the major theme of energy transition, a number of speakers took turns in workshops and panels to discuss advances in energy production and environmental protection, to address the question of the role of fossil fuels in the energy landscape (taking into account possible technological solutions for more environmentally-friendly use), and also to highlight the contribution of low-carbon companies.
