Altrad supports the Telethon by auctioning jerseys signed by the All Blacks and the XV de France

The AFM-Téléthon is mobilising many associations in France to fight against orphan diseases and in particular #myopathies.
On Friday 8 and Saturday 9 December 2023, in the Nord-Ardèche region of France, teams of local firefighters pulled out all the stops to raise funds. The ALTRAD group helped them and contributed by donating 2 rugby shirts signed by the players of two leading teams of which the Altrad group is an official partner: the #AllBlacks of New Zealand and the #XVdeFrance. In total, several thousand euros were raised.
The shirts were handed over to the winners this weekend. Antoine Martinez, Group Communications Director, took the opportunity to point out that "3 million people in France are affected by some 7,000 rare diseases. Many children and their parents, as well as adults, are still waiting for treatment. Every year, the Telethon raises funds to finance scientific research. So it's important to get involved. And it's the role of a group like Altrad to get involved in such initiatives. Congratulations especially to the firefighters whose commitment was decisive".
